All Hitachi reconditioned tools, batteries, and chargers are backed by a one year manufacturer’s warranty. The reconditioned Hitachi warranty is valid for the United States ONLY.

All Warranty issues occurring after 60 days from the date of purchase are handled through a Local Hitachi Service Center or the Hitachi Factory Service Center.

The Hitachi tool warranty is not with Big Sky Tool.

Customers have two Hitachi warranty options:

1. Local Authorized Hitachi Service Center

Return the defective tool to a Local Authorized Hitachi service center, alond with your proof of purchase.

2. Ship tool to Authorized Service Center

Ship the defective tool to Hitachi’s Factory Service Department, along with your proof of purchase and your contact information.

The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the defective item for warranty repair.

Hitachi is responsible for shipping the item back to the customer.

The Hitachi warranty does NOT apply where:

Repairs have been made or attempted by others, repairs are required because of normal wear and tear, if the tool has been abused, misused, improperly maintained or if alterations have been made to the tool.

DO NOT RETURN ANY HITACHI TOOLS TO BIG SKY TOOL FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS. WE ARE UNABLE TO SERVICE THEM AT OUR FACILITY.

Hitachi Batteries and Chargers

All battery and charger issues occurring from date of purchase will have to be sent directly to the Hitachi Warranty Center.

Reconditioned Batteries and Chargers

Hitachi reconditioned battery(s) and/or chargers are backed by a one year manufacturer’s warranty.

New Batteries and Chargers

New Hitachi battery(s) and chargers will be considered under the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Battery and charger warranties are not covered by Big Sky Tool as we are unable to service them at our facility.

Should you experience a problem with your new or reconditioned Hitachi battery(s) and/or charger at any time during the warranty period, you will need to contact Hitachi for the warranty replacement.

To get your warranty claim started, ship the defective battery(s) and/or charger(s) back to the address below along with your contact information and your proof of purchase. If the item is received without this information processing will be delayed. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the defective battery(s) and/or charger(s) to the Hitachi warranty center while Hitachi is responsible for shipping the item back to the customer.
